Best treatment of Calvinism in the 20th century! For anyone who takes an IMPARTIAL look, this book will convince them!

Without a doubt the best book on Calvinism EVER written. Please don't listen to the bad reviews....for some reasons many Calvinists are combative and argumentative by nature, and many of them offer criticisms of this book based on the fact that they disagree with it, not based on the merits. Reviews are meant to be about quality of authorship, communication strengths or weaknesses, poignancy of the author, structure, style, readability, etc...not "You disagree with MY theological position so I am going to give you a 1-star review." That is a partial or biased review, and really has no merit or basis in fact. As such, these types of reviews should be disregarded. I have given several Calvinist writers excellent ratings...Why? Because its the RIGHT thing to do, if they produce a good book. It demonstrates a lack of integrity and maturity to poorly rate a book in an attempt to crucify someone with whom you disagree!!
Anyway....This book is for ANYONE who seeks the TRUTH about Reformed Theology...
1) The FACT that Calvin was a murderer (historically undeniable!),
2) That people are NOT so dead in sin that they cannot respond to the simplistic and glorious Gospel call,
3) That God did not and would not elect some people to eternal hell so he can be glorified - in fact, this is contrary to His very NATURE as God. God does NOT arbitrary pick some for heaven with no conditions -- Romans 3-4 make it abundantly clear, without dispute, that it is by FAITH that God elects us unto salvation.
4) That Christ died for ALL (and that Christ's blood was not "wasted" nor is Christ's sovereignty challenged if people reject the gospel). As Hebrews says so clearly, Christ is/was the ONCE FOR ALL sacrifice for sin.
5) That people CAN and DO resist the gospel and God's grace. One cooperates with God through faith unto salvation. Without faith, it is impossible to please God and impossible to know God's Son in a salvific manner. BTW: Calvinism teaches that one is saved FIRST, and that faith comes AFTERWARDS. Yet there isn't a single verse in Scripture with this salvation paradigm!
6) That people can KNOW WITH ASSURANCE that they are saved.
So you see, this book tells you all you need to know about Calvinism, its Catholic and Gnostic roots, and why it is so dangerous, yet so seductive.
I implore you...do your OWN research. Don't follow Piper and Sproul (both whom I respect greatly) just because they are big names. Be a Berean and know theology for yourself. Once you do, you WILL discover that Calvinism is in err, and that is is not consistent with the nature and love of God disclosed in Scripture.

One of the best books ever exposing Calvinism

Dave Hunt is a beloved evangelist who has been in his ministry more than 40 years. He has exposed false cults from Mormons to Calvinists. This book is written simply and yet effectively to refute the false teachings of Calvinism. Dave deals with Calvinism's twisted arguements and exposes them clearly simply by the bible.

Common sense refutation of the doctrine of Calvinism

This book is an able refutation of the doctrine of Calvinism. The title says it all: what kind of love would God have if He would create billions of people to burn in hell? The free gift of salvation is open to all. About as far as my simple mind can go is that we are all called, and if you answer and are saved, then you become one of the elect! Praise the Lord for his faithfulness. After reading this book, you will wonder how anyone could ever be a Calvinist. The only part I didn't care for was the dispensational viewpoint, although it is an inconsequential part, only occasionally seen in this book.
