Riviting Story! Absolutely brilliant plot!

I use a Bentley manual to keep my VW Jetta on the road, and this book has been a life-saver. I was pleasantly surprised to find a reasonably priced hardcover for the BMW I recently acquired. This is THE go-to-book for any mechanic, shade-tree or professional. Excellent index and table of context, clear diagrams, good paper quality, good quality images and photographs. The one complaint I have on the 5 Series manual, is that while it had very detailed instructions on engine maintenance and removal and even work on the valve train, there were no diagrams or illustrations of the entire motor out of the engine-bay, which would be helpful for those of us not familiar with this engine.

Terrific BMW Maintenance Book

This book tells you everything that you need to know to perform just about any BMW repair on an E34 Series with the exception of engine replacement or transmission replacement. This book covers just about every component of the vehicle (electrical and mechanical) and the book is easy to undersand.
If you have just a basic knowledge of cars, then you will understand this manual in no time. Even if you have NO knowledge of cars, you can still understand how to maintain the E34 Series and you will be able to discuss problems more intelligently with a mechanic. I use this book to maintain my own E34 series BMW and it was well worth the $56 because it has saved me thousands of dollars in repairs bills.

BMW E-34 Series Repair Manual

I bought this manual for my physical therapist. He owns a 1995 BMW and his friend told him the manuals were a must have for any BMW owner. He also told him the mauals were not cheap. The manual I bought was listed as "very good condition" and it could of easily passed for "New" thats how well this book was taken care of. Depending on what you are seeking through amazon.com it just may be in your best interest to buy used if the item you are seeking is available.
